It’s Wednesday and that means I decide on my Shabbat menu. I think to myself – what haven’t I made for awhile that everyone really likes and will warm us up on a cold Winter night? Here’s my menu:
I order from the butcher today so that I have time to prepare the pot roast early on Thursday. This allows me time to chill it overnight and remove the fat early Friday morning. I also make a list of vegetables, herbs, fruit etc. that I’ll need; so I can either order them online or get to the store early on Thursday to buy them. Now I’m organized and can get back to the rest of my day.
